What else does YG Entertainment have up their sleeves? The same people who brought us big name pop stars and their makeup line, Moonshot, are now topping it off with their clothing line–Nona9on–and we’re obsessed.
YG debuted their clothing line September of 2014 and so far, the line has been available at pop up stores in South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong and Italy. For those of us who aren’t in reach of these locations, we can shop the collection on the Beaker‘s english website.
The collection is definitely reflective of the YG sound as it mixes hip hop vibes with high fashion design. Each piece has a structured cut, but still maintains a street wear edge to it, making it a must-have for any Street Styler out there. The best part of the collection is that the pieces are, for the most part, unisex. Check out this photo of G-Dragon and CL both rocking 15SS minidresses.
There really is no gender in fashion. We love it.
According to Arirang TV News, in 2013 alone, YG Entertainment had a revenue of $104.3 million with only 23 artists under their belt. With this expansion, in order for Nona9on to thrive, YG must rely on their original market–the music–and utilize their stars as living advertisements for the line. Luckily, their artists are already noted for their fashionable and trend setting ways.
Since September, YG released an arsenal of trailers featuring their artists modeling Nona9on pieces from the Spring/Summer 2015 collection.
