The bestselling Asian American novel “The Wangs vs. The World” may be getting a Hulu TV adaptation, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Penned by Jade Chang, “The Wangs vs. The World” tells the story of an all-American Chinese family. After losing their wealth, the Wangs take a road trip that brings the fragmented family back together.
“Crazy Rich Asians” helmer Jon M. Chu is attached to direct the pilot episode should Hulu decide to move forward with the project.
