I am KoreAm and proud because of how wonderfully colorful my bicultural life is. I take all the best of both Korean and American cultures to take the best life has to offer!

Korean American first generation immigrant (immigrated at age 9) – ethnically 100 percent Korean but very bicultural.

Each of us are unique with our own backgrounds and experiences that bring such color to life. I like to think that while we are all Americans, we are not a melting pot, but a beautiful mosaic.

My mother for showing me that no matter what obstacles you face in life, you can overcome them through persistence and consistency.
What is one goal you would like to accomplish during your lifetime?
Health insurance for all US residents. I believe access to health care is a right, not a privilege.
If you had to describe yourself using three words, they would be…
Determined, confident, giving.
Do you have any words that you live by?
I can do anything I put my mind to.
When people look at me, they would never guess that I…
Am an avid football fan.

Dramedy!

Patience with empathy.

My weekends are all about yoga clothing!
If you could have any superpowers, what would it be?
Reading people’s minds!
When was the last time you cried?
Yesterday watching a Korean drama!
What do you think the greatest invention in your lifetime is and why?
Sadly, it is the smartphone because so much of my life tasks are contained within it.
