The rule affects individuals who are legally in the U.S. by denying legal permanent residency or temporary visas to those who are deemed “public charge,” or someone who is likely to depend on the government for basic needs that include health care, housing and nutrition assistance.
One Nation urges people to say “no” to public charge, to share their stories and to call or write their representatives.
