K-pop’s biggest “aww” moment of the day comes from girl group Mamamoo’s Wheein, who was caught on camera using sign language to interact with a deaf fan at a fan meeting last week.
“The fan said she was thankful when Wheein got up from her seat to listen to her & when Wheein spoke/did the signs clearly so she could understand,” a Tumblr fan wrote, with a video clip. “Wheein was doing the signs almost syllable by syllable so the fan could understand.”
Mamamoo, a four-member band, debuted in 2014 and released their latest album, “Melting,” to critical acclaim earlier this year.
