K-pop Playlist of the Week: Seventeen, IU & K.Will

A slew of standout releases means that fall is off to a good start in K-pop. Here’s are the old and new tracks that have us hooked:

“Change Up” – Seventeen

Seventeen’s leaders S.Coups, Woozi and Hoshi have teamed up and brought the best of each SVT sub-unit in “Change Up.”

“Nonfiction” – K.Will

If you love K-dramas but don’t have time to watch 16 episodes, watch this K.Will video instead. With a bittersweet love story and emotionally-charged vocals, “Nonfiction” will get the waterworks started.

“Last Night Story” – IU

The slayer of Korean music charts is here to continue the carnage. IU’s crystal-clear singing combines with a fun, art-house video in this quirky, slowed-down reimagining of “Last Night Story.”

“Girl Front” – LOONA/ODD EYE CIRCLE

LOONA continues their sub-unit project with Odd Eye Circle and “Girl Front,” an electro-pop song that flirts with the line between modern and nostalgic.

“Don’t Let Me Go” – SHINee

This romantic pop ballad by K-pop powerhouse SHINee is perfect for a rainy day, and sounds even better when sung live.
