South Korean model and actress Jung In-ah has passed away in a tragic skydiving accident, according to Korean media outlets.
Jung, 35, had been missing since going skydiving on June 13 when weather conditions suddenly turned. Her body was found three days later in South Jeolla Province’s Goheung county. Police believe that Jung’s parachute deployed properly and said the cause of death was most likely an improper landing.
The actress had been receiving skydiving training for nearly a year in preparation for a role in an upcoming film. She had kept her fans updated on her progress by posting photos, such as the one pictured below, on her social media accounts.

Born Jung Hye-young, the actress was best known for her appearance in the 2008 MBC drama The Secret of Keu Keu Island. Jung was also a fitness trainer, a licensed yoga and pilates instructor, an avid scuba diver and a horseback rider.
Her funeral will take place on June 19 at 6 a.m. in Incheon.
