KYCC: Beautify YOUR Neighborhood

KYCC’s Environmental Services provides free services, resources.

KYCC’s Environmental Services unit believes that sustainable, positive changes begin with community residents. When neighbors come together to beautify their community, their work not only positively affects their physical space, but also connects neighbors with each other and the community they live in.

If you’re an individual who wants to increase the safety, health and beauty of your community, then KYCC’s environmental staff is here to support you!

Through KYCC’s tree planting and graffiti removal programs, we are able to link community members with the resources they need to lead community beautification events. Some of these resources include recruiting volunteers and navigating city permit processes.

KYCC provides free trees and planting materials, brooms and bags to collect litter, and paint and brushes to remove graffiti. It’s just about everything a community needs to make a positive change in
their community! So, let’s get started!

If you would like to start your own community beautification project, or join an existing community event, please contact Ryan Allen at rallen@kyccla.org or call (213) 365- 7400, ext. 5401.
