In case you missed it, a 30-second trailer for the upcoming live-action “Ghost In the Shell” film — which continues to be controversial for its casting of Scarlett Johansson in the leading role of Kusanagi Motoko in lieu of an actor of Asian descent — was aired during Super Bowl Sunday.
The film is directed by Rupert Sanders, also stars Michael Pitt, Pilou Asbæk and Chin Han, and follows Motoko, a cyborg crime fighter, as she and her team hunt down the Puppet Master.
It comes to theaters March 31.
