Monday Giveaway: Comfort Women Postcards

Update: The winners are Anna, Nikki and Min – please email me with your mailing address!

Today’s giveaway comes from the House of Sharing, a safe house for former Korean “Comfort Women,” women who were forced into sexual slavery during World War II under Japanese military rule.

Art therapy was used to help them deal with their trauma, resulting in some disarmingly beautiful artwork. The House decided to turn some of the art into postcards as a way to spread awareness, as the women are still waiting for an apology from the Japanese government.

Winners will receive two packs of 10 postcards.
