Southern Californian Korean beauty enthusiasts are in for a treat this year. Leading Korean beauty retail chain Olive Young is anticipating its debut into the U.S. market with their first brick and mortar shops in Old Town Pasadena and Westfield Century City on May 2026. As someone who has shopped at Olive Young online, I am very much looking forward to getting my beauty needs instantly.
The store, which many have likened as a Korean Sephora or Ulta, offers thousands of K-beauty and lifestyle items. Their website features a personalized experience with separate sections under skincare needs where you can select what area you personally want targeted.
Originally established in 1999 in Seoul, the company has since expanded to over 1,350 stores across Korea. Their success is no accident as they have integrated innovations such as same day delivery in 2018, a feature U.S. beauty retailers wouldn’t see in their retailers until 2021.
They will be located on 58 W Colorado Blvd. Pasadena, CA and 10250 Santa Monica Blvd. Los Angeles, CA
