Police in Vancouver are looking for a 38-year-old “emotionally distressed” woman missing since last Friday, according to news reports.
North Shore News reported that Yoo Chung Choi vanished after a late-night call to her family that left them deeply worried. When her car was found the next day parked near Lynn Canyon bridge, police launched a search.
“She was very emotionally distressed,” said Const. Lindsey Houghton, a spokesman for the Vancouver Police Department. “Without getting into any of the content of the phone call, it’s led us to believe that she might be actively looking to harm herself.”
Choi is described as 5’2″ tall, 120 lbs., with a slim build and long, black hair.
