The Screen Actors Guild announced its nominations for the 23rd annual SAG Awards this week. Nominees include Riz Ahmed, who led HBO’s “The Night Of” to critical acclaim this year, as well as Dev Patel, Leonardo Nam and Kimiko Glenn.
Ahmed, who received a nomination in the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series category, played Nasir Khan, a Pakistani American college student who is accused of murder and placed in an unjust justice system.

The actor will next be seen in the upcoming Star Wars film “Rogue One.”
Patel, best known for his breakout performance in “Slumdog Millionaire,” was nominated for his turn as Saroo Brierley in “Lion,” for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role.

Nam and Glenn each are part of ensemble nominations for HBO’s “Westworld” and Netflix’s “Orange Is The New Black,” respectively.
The SAG Awards will take place Jan. 29.
