Comedy fans, get ready for another series to add to your watchlist!
The autobiographical surrealist comedy series, “Mason,” was just approved by Showtime yesterday, August 1. The series will star comedian Nathan Min (“Joe Pera Talks with You”) as a quiet man named Nathan, whose name is often confused for Mason, as he seeks relationships in an increasingly noisy world. In addition to starring, Min will produce the forthcoming series alongside Oscar-nominated actor Steven Yeun (“Nope”) through Yeun’s production company, Universal Remote, under the A24 umbrella.
Adding more A24 affiliation in the mix, Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan, coming off the heels of their recent box office hit “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” the first A24 film to gross $100 million dollars globally, will direct the pilot. A premiere date for “Mason” has yet to be released, but in the meantime, catch the re-release of Daniels’s “Everything Everywhere All at Once” now!
