Think of your most embarrassing moment. Got it in your head? Well we’re gonna go ahead and bet that this University of Iowa teaching assistant probably beats you with her cringe-worthy, facepalm moment.
The TA allegedly meant to send her Math for Business students a study guide to their homework. I’m sure all of us have accidentally sent the wrong attachment at one point or sent a text message to the wrong person, but this mistake takes the cake.
Instead of the study guide, the TA accidentally sent more than 80 of her students nude pictures of her and her Asian boyfriend over a googlechat hangout in the middle of a “cybersex session.”
As expected, the students turned to twitter to voice their.. shock at the incorrect attachment.
According to The Daily Dot, the TA walked into class the next day pretending like nothing happened, but everyone in the room felt “extremely awkward.”
UI spokesman Tom Moore issued an email statement confirming that the incident did occur and that the TA deeply regrets the accident.
“This incident was inappropriate, and the university will look into it and take appropriate actions under our policies and procedures,” writes Moore.
