Jessica, Louis, Eddie, Emery, Evan and Grandma Huang caravanned from D.C. to their home in Florida over four years ago, and they’ve been in our hearts ever since. “Fresh Off The Boat” broke waves by portraying a loving, hilarious and strong family that battles Asian stereotypes. Although the sitcom wasn’t the first show to represent Asian American families, it has been one of the most successful on an American network, and we’re sad to see the Huangs go. But we are excited to see what all of the talented actors from the cast do next.
Relive these special moments with the Huangs, then check out the sneak peek of the finale!
1.When Louis and Jessica used the American system against itself:
2. When Grandma Huang rocked a new ’do (and cursed sun bathers):
3. When Eddie used Tupac to impress the ladies:
4. When Jessica broke down capitalism:
5. When Emery showed off his playboy moves:
6. When Louis got real with Regis Philbin:
7. When Jessica unleashed her inner lioness:
8. When Evan switched into middle-aged-white-mom mode (again):
9. When Jessica asked the real questions about Christmas:
10. …and used the Tooth Fairy for good:
The Huangs will be missed, but we won’t miss their two part series finale. Catch it on ABC this Friday, Feb. 21, at 8/7c.
