California’s largest resort and casino recently went through a make-over. The results? It looks more gorgeous than we could have imagined.
The multimillion dollar make-over included a renovation of the hotel lobby, two restaurants and the addition of two more dining outlets. As you can expect, all this took quite some work, but Pechanga put all their efforts into making the renovation as smooth as possible. For instance, Pechanga closed itself down for four months to hasten the construction process.
In honor of this successful renovation, Pechanga invited members of the press for a one-day event to experience the unveiling of the resort first-hand. We were lucky enough to take part in this alongside nearly 100 media attendees.
During the media tour, we met with a number of key resort leaders who were happy to shed some light on the recent renovation. For instance, Lee Torres, Vice President of Marketing at Pechanga, reassured us that although the renovation took quite some time and effort, the resort is happy with their decision. He added that their goal is to “continuously reinvest in the company and the site.”
Greg Leung, Director of Asian Marketing at Pechanga, stated in that the renovation aligned with Pechanga’s goal to “make every guest feel as comfortable as possible.”
“Pechanga focuses on building relationships within the community.” Torres added. This can easily be seen with KoreAm Journal‘s annual Pro-Am event which is held at Pechanga’s professional golf course. This is only one of the many ways in which Pechanga supports the various Asian communities.
Additionally, Pechanga caters to the authenticity of the various Asian cultures with resort ambassadors who converse in native languages. In fact, one of the most delightful aspects of the tour were the resort ambassadors/hosts who dressed in their culture’s traditional clothing.
The media showcase allowed us to tour the newly transformed areas, all dressed up for the Lunar New Year, and experience the transformed Asian restaurant, Blazing Noodles.
On the menu were items such as Roasted Duck Noodle Soup, Oxtail with Red Wine Sauce, Poached Duck Wings, Duck Tongue, Tofu, Pork Belly, Orange Chicken, Chinese Beef Broccoli, Pad Thai, Fried Rice and more.
Clearly, there are many reasons to visit the new-and-improved Pechanga Resort & Casino. Incredible food, beautiful renovations and a goal to cater to the various Asian communities? They certainly gained a fan.
