Moving to a foreign country, learning English, giving up their careers, taking on odd jobs and loans, being separated from their family–immigrant parents don’t have it easy. But it’s all-in when it comes to giving their children a chance at a good life.
A recent video by Buzzfeed Yellow celebrates the sacrifices of Asian immigrants with their children, including guests AJ Rafael and Chris Dinh, recounting what they now realize as adults about their parents’ experiences. Tears run free as they express their gratitude and apologize for their past ignorance.
