“It’s going to be a big challenge to recognize that the world is shrinking,” the newly released trailer for “Human Flow,” the documentary film by Chinese artist Ai Weiwei says. “And people from different religions and different cultures are going to have to learn to live with each other.”
Ai is a prominent human rights activist, directed and produced the documentary, which will be screened at the Venice film festival and in theaters Oct. 13.
The plight of millions of global refugees, from the Middle East to South America and Europe, was filmed in 23 countries for more than a year by Ai and his team.
