K-pop fans surely know the name JYP — not only is it the entertainment label that’s produced some of the genre’s biggest acts, it’s the initials of the man who built it, himself a performer with numerous No. 1 hits under his belt.
He’s now headed to Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, California, on Aug. 25 and 26 for a solo concert.
After debuting in 1994, JYP topped charts with catchy head-boppers like “She Was Pretty” and “Honey.” As a producer, he’s birthed giants, from g.o.d. and Rain to the Wonder Girls, 2PM, Miss A, Got7 and Twice.
