If you’ve ever watched an episode of “Bling Empire,” you already know there’s no party like a Bling Empire party. The second season launch on May 12 was no exception, bringing out the reality series’ stars for a night of fun and food in the Hollywood Hills.
“Bling Empire” premiered in January 2021 to rave reviews. The Netflix original follows a group of uber-rich Asian and Asian American entrepreneurs, models, DJs and more as they pull back the curtains on their lives of luxury in Los Angeles. Ahead of the second season’s May 13 premiere, Character Media got a peek at what’s coming up next for the cast.
“I’m so excited for everyone to see my relationship with [co-star] Anna [Shay], and all the crazy, fun, spontaneous things we did together,” star Jaime Xie said of the new episodes. “It’s hard to pick just one.”
Model and series narrator Kevin Kreider also shared his thoughts on the significance of Asian representation in the show. “It just means that we get to see Asians in a more 360 light,” he said.
