Is anyone in need of a bit of psyCHOtherapy?
The always-edgy-with-a-purpose Margaret Cho will be hitting cities all over the U.S. for her psyCHO Tour this fall. The comedienne will begin October in the Midwest before swinging by NYC and D.C., and then travel across the West Coast. She’ll pop out to Atlanta and Miami at the end of October and end the tour with a stop in Denver and Los Angeles.
“This show is about insanity and about the anger I feel about everything happening in the world right now,” Cho writes on her website, “from police brutality to racism to the rising tide of violence against women. It makes me so crazy–hence the title: ‘THE PSYCHO TOUR’ because there is no ‘I’ in team but there is a ‘CHO’ in ‘psycho.’
“I’m trying to bring some joy to the hysteria and insanity. It’s great when you can take something that’s very tragic and turn it around. That’s what I’m doing! Please join me in the madness!”
