Asia Brings the Heat in CES 2026 with Lava Tech Leading the Way

The annual tech trade show, CES, held from January 6th-9th, brought the latest tech innovations to Las Vegas at the Convention Center. Garnering over 148,000 people and 4,100 exhibitors, the event showcased innovations in robotics and increased screens on portables.

Asia has always had a presence at CES, but this year they showed up. One of the most eye-catching booths of the show came from Lava Tech, a Calfornia based (by Asian owners) brand with multiple brands under its belt that believes in the mission of creating technology that feels human. They invited notable figures like Akon, Kelly Mi Li, Armani White, Michael Chadwick, Jesse Morales and Chloe Veitch. As well as Esther Anaya, Mary Senn, Elaina Badro, Bernardina Lato, Corazon Ediza Ferris, Vanessa Curry, Marcel Vigneron, Lauren Rae Levy, Fulop Budavari, and David Christopher Lee to name a few.

One of the latest tech innovations that had everybody buzzing from Lava Tech is Lollipop Star. This lollipop is no ordinary candy, it utilizes bone conducting technology that allows the user to hear music while enjoying the sweet, zero sugar confection. As Sen Cai, the CMO of Lollipop Star says, “It’s not just a lollipop, it’s the carrier of the music.” Offered in 3 different flavors, Tropical Blue Punch, Lime Sea Salt and White Peach Strawberry Ice, the lollipop features music by Akon, Armani White, and Ice Spice. Lollipop Star is truly a candy that you can taste, hear, and pop with the rhythm.

Another highlight from Lava Tech are their 3D printed shoes called Staray, which are futuristic in style as well as eco-friendly in production. Showcased in a wide array of colors, the 3D printed shoe is easy to slip on, soft, lightweight, shock absorbing and breathable with it’s lattice design. They also made a statement with their stylish Lynk Bracelet and Starta Ring that both have 24/7 health tracking as well as sleep and activity monitoring. Other brands from Lava Tech include OSO AI Earbuds that records, transcribes and summarizes conversations and OSO Panocore 360 AI Series Meeting Camera that delivers 360 degrees room coverage with crystal clear audio and real-time multilingual translation. Nuvy, a brand also part of the Lava Tech umbrella, offers the Nuvy Straightener, a zero heat damage all in one hair straightener, Nuvy Shaver, a zero pain shaver that is fast charging and has a long-lasting battery life, and Vorta Multi-Styler, a straightener and curler that shines, smoothes and tames flyaways with negative ions. Finally, Lavedge, a brand under Lava Tech that offers stylish and ergonomic earphones that give long-lasting comfort and immersive sound quality great for meetings and listening to music.

Other Asian companies that are leading the way in tech innovations are Yingling Co for their 8K 360 degrees drone, Netvue technologies for their smart bird feeders, and Zettlab for their AI-powered storage solutions. All three companies based in Shenzhen, China won the CES Best of Innovation Award for 2026.

The growth in participation of Asian brands in CES has really stood out this year and it’s expected to grow in the years to come. I can’t wait to see the innovations in tech and gadgets they come up with in the future.
