The latest news coming out of “Aquaman,” the DC superhero pic directed by James Wan and starring Jason Momoa, is Ludi Lin, the Chinese Canadian actor who’s been cast as Murk.
According to Deadline, Lin — who’s best known for his stint as the Black Ranger in the latest “Power Rangers” film — has joined the Warner Bros. project as “the leader of the front-line army of Atlantis known as the Men-of-War.” Murk is a close Aquaman ally.
The film also stars Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, Nicole Kidman and Willem Dafoe and is expected for a late 2018 release.
Lin is a relative newcomer whose other credits include an episode of Netflix’s “Marco Polo” and a small role in “Monster Hunt,” a China-Hong Kong film.
