Marissa Lee co-founded the grass roots organization Race Bending to bring people together to help stop Hollywood whitewashing, originally after the announcement of “Avatar: The Last Airbender” live-action film. The aim of the organization is to promote proper representation of Asian characters on screen in television, comic books, and films.
