Tuesday's Link Attack: Rich Cho Named Bobcats GM, Masterchef's Esther Kang

Burmese-American Rich Cho was named general manager of the Michael Jordan-owned Charlotte Bobcats basketball team on Tuesday.

Cho, who was born in the country now known as Myanmar and came to the U.S. when he was three, is a former engineer and also has a law degree.

It may signal a sense of urgency and seriousness by the Charlotte owner to finally produce a winner.”

Cho became the first Asian American GM in a major sport when he was hired by the Portland Trailblazers last year. He was fired last month after just one year. Big mistake, Portland? We shall see.
