Anyone in the mood for romance, revenge, and major eye candy? Search no further! Korean hottie So Ji Sub and Chinese megastar beauty Zhang Ziyi star together in romantic comedy, “Sophie’s Revenge,” a Chinese language film directed by Eva Jin and co-produced by Zhang Ziyi herself. The film follows comic book artist, Sophie(Zhang Ziyi), who gets dumped by fiance Jeff(So Ji Sub) after he meets and falls for a movie star, Joanna. Sophie vows to win Jeff’s love back by using a “scientific” approach with the help of her friends and Joanna’s ex-lover. Thus begins the comic adventure full of laughs and surprises. “Sophie’s Revenge” will be screened at the Newport Beach Film Festival Wednesday, April 28 at 8PM.
