“Vice Principals” actress Susan Park will join Daveed Diggs and Jennifer Connelly as a series regular on TNT’s “Snowpiercer,” a dystopian thriller-drama based on director Bong Joon-ho’s same-titled 2013 film, according to Deadline.
Scott Derrickson, the director of “Doctor Strange,” will be helming the show. TNT’s drama is set seven years after the ice age swallows overwhelms earth and will center on the passengers of a globe-scaling train as they face class struggles and deal with the politics of survival.
Park will be playing Jinju, an elite passenger who also works as a fine dining chef at the train’s best restaurant.
In addition to playing Christine in the upcoming season of HBO’s “Vice Principals,” Park has also had recurring roles as Jessica’s sister Connie in “Fresh Off the Boat, Dr. Sally Hong in “Life in Pieces” and Linda Park in “Fargo.”
