Hiro Murai, the director behind Childish Gambino’s viral “This Is America” music video and “Atlanta,” has reportedly been tapped to helm a thriller with 20th Century Fox.
According to Deadline, Murai is in talks to take on “Man Alive,” which is set during an alien invasion of earth.
The film would be Murai’s feature directorial debut. His credits include music videos by Death Cab for Cutie, B.o.B, David Guetta and a Tribe Called Quest, as well as episodes of TV series like “Legion” and “Barry.”
